The expression of Caspase-3 and Tenascin-C at 3 days after crush injury. At three days after crush injury, specimens from both sem (p38+/−) and wt (p38+/+) mice were processed for immunostaining using anti Caspase-3 antibody, and anti Tenascin-C antibody. Scale bar indicates 50 μm. The ratio of the immunopositive area of (a) Caspase-3 and (b) Tenascin-C to the total area of the field was calculated as the immunopositive rate, respectively.
