Semi-quantitative analysis of the amount of nuclear NF-IL6 signals in the subfornical organ (SFO), in the hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus (PVN), and in the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland (pituitary) of rats 30, 60, 90, 120, and 240 min after stress or 30 and 240 min after a control situation (undisturbed). A five-point scale was used to rate the data: + + + (5), high density of nuclear signals; + + (4), moderate density of nuclear signals; + (3), low density; ± (2), single nuclear signals in some cases; - (1), no nuclear signals.
