  1. RA was administered at a dose of 50 mg/kg as a single intravenous bolus injection 30 minutes after cerebral I/R. RA indicates rosmarinic acid. Data are means ± SD, each group contains 15 rats. * P <0.05, ** P <0.01 vs vehicle-treated group. Cerebral infarct volumes of different groups were compared using one-way ANOVA followed by Dunnett's test. Neurological deficit scores between groups were compared using a nonparametric test.
