Fn14·TRAIL alters subpopulations of CCR5+ expressing cells, particularly CCR5+Tcells during different stages of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). (A) Splenocytes derived from vehicle and Fn14·TRAIL- treated (200 μg/day) EAE mice, from the day of induction were analyzed for expression of surface markers by fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) analysis as described in Materials and Methods. Expression of CCR5 alone and together with CD4+ for the total splenocytes is shown and is based on the number of cells expressing each marker. (B –C) Splenocytes removed on day 17 or day 22 post-induction from mice were treated with 200 μg/day from day 10 post-induction for 7 days, *P <0.05.
