Production of rAAV-CCL2 construct and documentation of CCL2 overexpression in mouse tissue. (A) Schematic representation of pTR2-GMCS vector construct used to express chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 2 (CCL2). Chicken β-actin (CBA) promoter was used to drive the expression of CCL2, and RFP expression was driven by HSV thymidine kinase (HSV-tk) promoter. Construct vector was flanked by two terminal repeats (TR). (B) PCR product of the expected size for CCL2 (440 bp).
