CD45 accumulation in the brain is driven by CCL2 overexpression. CD45+ macrophages display various phenotypic morphologies in rAAV9-CCL2 animals (E) through (H). Quantification of the percentage area containing positive CD45 immunostaining is presented for each brain region in (I) and (J) (mean ± SEM, n = 6).
