  1. aWild-type and interferon regulatory factor 3–knockout (irf3 −/−) mice were immunised with myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG35–55) in Complete Freund’s adjuvant, and Bordetella pertussis toxin was administered on day 0 and day 2. Mice were scored daily for clinical signs of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis. Data represent disease incidence in each group in five independent experiments.
