From: Macrophages migrate in an activation-dependent manner to chemokines involved in neuroinflammation
Quantification of centre of mass of the migrated macrophages. The centre of mass (COM) as measurement for migration of 10 tracked cells of three independent experiments towards chemokines and complement factors. M2 macrophages consistently migrate larger distances than M1 macrophages. Only to CCL2, the M0 macrophages migrate distances comparable with M2 macrophages.
