Quantification of CD45⁺ microglial cells in hippocampus and cortex of the TgAPPsw mice with reduced GRK5. The numbers of CD45⁺ microglial cells in hippocampus (A) and cortex (B) of WT, heterozygote GRK5KO, TgAPPsw, and the double mice were quantified as described in methods. Two way-ANOVAs revealed significant interactions between APPsw and GRK5 gene modifications for both hippocampus and cortex (P < 0.001 for both regions).
