CD4 (W3/25) immunoreactivity in striatum. (A) The majority of CD4⁺ cells in PBS-infused animals resembled microglia, although a few cells with lymphocytic morphology were also present. (B-C) CD4⁺ cells with lymphocytic morphology were present in and around the needle tract in Wistar (WIS) MSC-treated and ACI MSC-treated animals (same rats shown in Fig. 2).
