Chronic effects of celastrol on Aβ plaque burden in Tg PS1/APPsw mice. B) Histogram representing the quantification of Aβ burden by image analysis in the cortex and hippocampus of Tg PS1/APPsw mice treated with placebo and celastrol pellets. Multivariate analysis reveals a statistically significant effect of celastrol treatment on Aβ plaque burden for the cortex (P < 0.002) and hippocampus (P < 0.004). (**P < 0.005).
