Table 2 Clinical disease induced in naïve wild-type recipient mice by adoptive transfer of lymphocytes from MPS IIIB mice

From: Mucopolysaccharidosis IIIB, a lysosomal storage disease, triggers a pathogenic CNS autoimmune response

*Lymphocyte Donor Disease Incidence at peak (14d pi) Day of onset **Mean peak clinical score
+/+ 0/20 (0%) n/a 0
-/- 30/30 (100%) 7.4 ± 1.1 0.9 ± 0.2
  1. In total, 26 and 38 mice received adoptive transfer of wt and MPS IIIB lymphocytes, respectively. Data here include only mice that went through complete disease observation. The rest of mice were terminated for tissue analysis at 1 week post transfer and were not included in this table.
  2. * +/+: wt mice; -/-: MPS IIIB mice. ** Peak: 2 weeks post transfer.
