Astrocytes induce cell signaling in neutrophils. Neutrophils were isolated with magnetic Dynabeads. Then neutrophils were co-cultured with astrocytes for indicated periods followed by isolation with a magnetic concentrator. After confirmation of little astrocyte contamination by microscopy, neutrophil lysate was prepared and interest proteins were detected with western blot assay. A.
