Chronic stress reduces the EAE-induced increase in inflammatory/oxidative status. A Western blot analysis revealed that iNOS expression in spinal cord homogenates was higher in EAE than in the EAE+S group; β-actin was used as an internal control and densitometric analysis of the band of interest is shown.
