No demyelination is observed at day 12 of the experiment and there are no differences in oxidative status in spinal cord of the EAE and EAE+S groups. A Levels of MBP protein in spinal cord measured by western blot revealed no differences between the groups. B iNOS expression in spinal cord is increased by EAE and stress, but there are no statistically significant differences between the EAE+S and EAE groups. β-Actin expression was used as an internal control and densitometric analysis of the band is shown below.
