B6 G93A-SOD1 mice (n = 11/group) were injected with saline (squares) or BV at ST36 (circles). Values represent the mean ± SEM. Significantly improved motor performance was evident at most time points between 7-9 days after BV treatment as compared with controls. The Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare saline-treatment versus BV-treatment in hSOD1G93A transgenic mice (**p < 0.005, *p < 0.05).
