Characterization of RTL1000-human platelet binding. A) Immobilized human platelets (2 × 107/ml) were incubated with fluorescently-labeled RTL1000 (RTL1000-Alexa488, 20 μg/ml) for 30 min at 37°C. Cells were imaged using differential interference contrast (DIC) and fluorescent microscopy. B) Washed human platelets (2 × 107/ml) were pipetted onto surfaces coated with RTL1000 (50 μg/ml) or fibrinogen (FG; 50 μg/ml) for 45 min at 37°C.
