Sinomenine reduces Aβ-induced increases in inflammatory molecules. BV2 cells were treated with oligomeric Aβ (ADDL) in the presence or absence of sinomenine and levels of inflammatory molecules were determined using flow cytometry. Treatment with ADDL led to an increase in levels of TNF-α, IL-6 and MCP-1.
