CA macrophages appear flattened and rounded. AA macrophages are more stretched and elongated. Control macrophages appear to possess morphology in between the two extremes, with some cells being more elongated while others are more rounded. The scale bar is 50 μm and a 40 times magnification was used. D) Rac and Rho activity. In CA macrophages small GTPases are more activated compared to both control and AA macrophages.
