The Kaplan-Meier curves show the proportion of relapse-free patients in the MX1high group (black curve) and in the MX1low group (red curve). Vertical dashes indicate right-censored patients that dropped out of clinical surveillance (n = 3). In particular, during the first 18 months after therapy initiation, the proportions of relapse-free patients declined in a similar manner for both cohorts. Overall, the difference between both patient groups was not significant according to the log-rank test (P = 0.424) and the hazard ratio (0.684, confidence interval: 0.266 to 1.761).
