(A), RT-PCR analysis showing mRNA expression of TGF-β1 after treatment with 1, 10 and 100 nM LTD4 or NMLTC4 for 24 h. There was no significant difference in TGF-β1 expression after treatment with LTD4 and NMLTC4 (n = 4 for each group, P >0.05). (B) TGF-β1 release in the culture supernatants after exposure to LTD4 and NMLTC4 measured by ELISA. Neither LTD4 nor NMLTC4 affected TGF-β1 expression and release.
