Histological analyses of lysMCreIκBαfl/fl mice (A, C, E, G) versus wild-type mice (B, D, F, H) result in increased inflammatory infiltration after HE staining or Mac-3 staining (A, B, C, D) and increased demyelination after Luxol Fast Blue staining (E, F). As compared to wild-type controls, lysMCreIκBαfl/fl mice are also characterized by an increase in iNOS expression cells (G, H). Representative images of spinal cord cross section in the acute phase on day 15 post immunization are shown. Infiltrated areas are marked in the knockout-mice group (A).
