From: Inflammation modulates expression of laminin in the central nervous system following ischemic injury
Laminin protein levels increase after treatment of endothelial cells with prostaglandin E 2 (PGE 2 ). BMECs were treated with 0.1 and 1 μM PGE2 for 1 or 2 days. At the end of the incubation period the cells were lysed and subjected to western blot analysis to reveal laminin protein levels. α-Tubulin was used to normalize protein loading.
