Expression level of cytokine genes in the CNS of TMEV infected B6 and IL-1R knockout (KO) mice at 3, 5 and 8 days post-infection (dpi). The relative expression levels of the indicated mRNAs in the central nervous system (CNS) of Theiler’s murine encephalitis virus (TMEV)-infected C57BL/6 and IL-1R KO mice at 3, 5 and 8 dpi were assessed by real-time PCR. Data are expressed by fold induction after normalization to the glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) mRNA levels. The values are expressed as the means ± SD of triplicates.
