The expression of the majority of immune response genes does not differ substantially between the pair, as shown in the distance from the bisecting line. However, expression of IL-17a was substantially reduced in the treated eye compared with the control eye. A duplicated array of another pair of eyes showed the same pattern. The TNF-α expression was also consistently reduced in the duplicated array of the treated eye compared with the control eye.
