In autism spectrum disorder-inflammatory subtype (ASD-IS) children, significant differences were observed in the scores of the Aberrant Behavior Checklist (ABC) subdomains I (irritability), II (lethargy), III (stereotypy), and IV (hyperactivity) between the `flare’ and `non-flare’ states ( P <0.005 for subdomains I and IV and P <0.01 for subdomain II by a paired Wilcoxon rank sum test.
