The color code shown at the bottom of the heat maps is linear, with green as the lowest and red as the highest. The miRs that were upregulated are shown in green to red, whereas the miRs that were downregulated are shown from red to green. Among all the significantly changed miRs, miR-27a was the most significantly downregulated in injured spinal cords at the abovementioned time points.
