The BET family bromodomain inhibitor JQ1 reduces LPS induced pro-inflammatory genes in primary microglial cells. (A and B) The Ccl7, Cxcl10, Irf7, Irg1, Ccl12, Ccl2, Irf1, Il1a, and Il1b genes were significantly downregulated in JQ1 (500 nM)-treated primary microglial cells at 2 and 4 h under inflammatory conditions (LPS 10 ng/mL). Gene expression was normalized to GAPDH transcript levels. *P < 0.05 and **P < 0.001 compared with the control. The data represent three independent experiments.
