Myd88−/− neurons are protected against soluble Aβ1-42 toxicity. Wildtype and Myd88−/− neuronal cultures were treated with 1 to 10 μM Aβ1-42 for 72 h and an MTS assay for cell viability was performed (*p < 0.05, n = 9, unmatched two-way ANOVA, Bonferroni post hoc test). Staurosporine (1 μM) was used as a positive control for neuronal cell death. Data is displayed as mean ± SEM with treatment concentration on the x axis.
