Western blot results for phosphorylated insulin receptor (IR) (Tyr1150/1151) to total IR (A) and insulin-like growth factor binding protein-3 (IGFBP-3) (B) on retinal endothelial cells (REC) cultured in normal glucose (NG, 5 mM) or high glucose (HG, 25 mM) and transfected groups. (A) The levels of IRTyr1150/1151 phosphorylation were increased by the overexpression of miR-15b and miR-16 in REC under hyperglycemic conditions. (B) miR-15b significantly increased the levels of IGFBP-3 in REC in hyperglycemia.
