Brain irradiation resulted in the recruitment of CD11c+/MHC II+ cells. Sections from 35 Gy brain-irradiated eGFP+ chimera animals at 6 months post-radiation were stained for MHC II and CD11c. Co-localization of markers were seen in eGFP-negative, endogenous cells (white arrows) as well as eGFP+ peripherally derived cells (green arrows). Scale bars: 100 μm
