CNO and NDC inhibit LPS-induced microglial activation in vitro. a Rats mesencephalic neuron-glia cultures were treated with CNO (0.01 μM), NDC (0.1 μM), or vehicle for 30 min prior to LPS (15 ng/ml) stimulation. Cultures were fixed at 7 days after treatments. Activation of microglia was visualized by immunostaining with anti-Iba-1 antibody and the representative images were shown. b The inhibitory effects of CNO and NDC on LPS-induced microglial activation were quantified by assessing the expressions of Iba-1 and CD11b using Western blot. GAPDH was used as loading control. Results are presented as the mean ± SEM from three independent experiments. *p < 0.05. Scale bar = 50 μm
