ZSTK474 inhibits pro-inflammatory cytokines and promotes anti-inflammatory cytokines. PCR was performed to quantify the expression of IL-1β (a), IL-6 (b), TNF-α (c), IL-10 (d), and TGF-β (e) mRNAs in the ischemic region 24, 48, and 72 h of reperfusion. In protein level, the supernatants of brain tissues from mice that underwent 48 h of reperfusion were measured by ELISA kits (f).
