Morbidity and mortality of mice infected with TBEV. a TBEV burden in different tissues by ic route in mice. Litters of BALB/c mice were challenged with TBEV WH2012 (103 TCID50s) by ic route. The kinetics of virus replication and levels of TBEV were determined in selected tissues of virus-infected mice at indicated time points (days 2, 5, and 8) by TCID50 assay. For each time point, the virus titers are the average of four mice.
