Cuprizone-induced inflammation is attenuated in Erk2 cKO mice. Erk2 cKO or Erk2 flox/flox mice were fed with cuprizone for 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 weeks before mRNA sampling. Cytokine and chemokine mRNA is quantitated as amount relative to GAPDH mRNA. Note that at 4 weeks of cuprizone feeding, all inflammatory molecules tested are higher in Erk2 flox/flox mice than in Erk2 cKO mice (n = 4; Student’s t test; *p < 0.05; **p < 0.01)
