Effects of Tat expression on miR-132 targets in neurons. SH-SY5Y were transfected with Tat.Myc, miR-132 mimic (miR-132m), and/or miR-132 inhibitor (miR-132i), cultured for 48 h and harvested for cell lysates, followed by Western blotting. A control miRNA and pcDNA3 were included to equalize the input DNA or miRNA. Western blots were quantitated using ImageJ software. The relative protein level was calculated using β-actin as the reference, and the first control sample was set at 1.0. The data were representative of three independent experiments
