Effects of miR-15a/16 on retinal leukostasis. Mouse retinas were flat mounted and immunostained with CD45 (leukocytes, red) and isolectin B4 (blood vessels, green). miR-15a/16 Cre-LoxP mice showed intense leukostasis compared to the miR-15a/16 floxed mice. More CD45-positive cells were observed in miR-15a/16 Cre-LoxP mice than miR-15a/16 floxed mice, and some of CD45-positive cells were found outside of the vessels (arrows). N = 5 mice for each group.
