WWL70 inhibited microsomal PGE₂ biosynthetic pathway. Microsome from LPS-activated BV2 cells was pre-incubated with WWL70 (3 μM), the mPGES-1 inhibitor MK886 (3 μM), the COX-1 inhibitor sc-560 (1 μM), or the COX-2 inhibitor NS398 (10 μM) for 5 min, then incubated with 10 μM AA for 1 min at 23 °C. The reaction mixture after incubation was employed PGE₂ EIA (a). Dose-dependent inhibition of WWL70 was examined to determine its IC₅₀ on PGE₂ synthesis (b).
