xCT−/− and xCT+/+ mice are equally susceptible for EAE development. Clinical score of xCT+/+ (n = 6) and xCT−/− mice (n = 7) after EAE induction (a). On day 25, the spinal cord was collected, sliced, and stained for demyelination (d, e), infiltration (f), and microglial activation (g) and subsequently scored (n = 3-4).
