Chronic unpredictable mild stress (CUMS) schedule and behavioral analysis after 12 weeks. Drug treatment sustained 1/day throughout the whole CUMS procedure (a). All stressed mice showed noticeably fewer body weight gains (b) (# p < 0.05, ## p < 0.01, ### p < 0.001 vs. Control). Mice in CUMS and CUMS + Veh groups displayed declined sucrose preference (c) and increased tail suspension immobility durations (d) (## p < 0.01, #### p < 0.0001 vs. Control), while there was no significant difference among those parameters in the open field test (e–g).
