Rats received the first administration of 1-MT (1, 3, and 9 mg/kg, p.o.) or vehicle at the 7th day after BDL surgery, and behavior tests were performed at 0, 7, 14, 21, and 28 days after BDL surgery. Animals were sacrificed immediately after behavior tests for neurochemical analysis
