Cell proliferation (MTT) and cytotoxicity (LDH) of macrophages following iron loading and iron chelation. MTT (a) and LDH (b) assays were carried out to determine cell proliferation and cellular toxicity, respectively. The cells were exposed to control, 300 uM FAC, or 300 μM DFO supplemented media for 24 h.
