HLA expression is increased in MS patients upon interferon stimulation. PBMCs from RRMS patients and healthy controls were either left unstimulated or activated with IFN-α or IFN-γ for 24 h. Boxplots show the fold change in expression of HLA-E, HLA-ABC, and HLA-DR in CD8 T cells and NK cells in MS patients and controls. Each dot represents a sample. IFN-γ induced a higher HLA-DR expression in CD8 T cells and HLA-E and HLA-ABC expression in NK cells from MS patients compared to controls. Statistical differences were calculated using Wilcoxon test
