  1. Rats were distributed into the following four groups: Naive (n = 12), Sham (n = 12), SE (n = 14) and SE+Ac2-26 (treated with the mimetic peptide of ANXA1; n = 12). Each animal was placed in an individual acrylic box for behavioural assessment for a period of 4 h after the onset of SE, and the following predominant seizure type was analysed according to the Racine’s scale [27]: 1—mouth and facial movement, 2—head nodding, 3—forelimb clonus, 4—rearing with forelimb clonus, 5—rearing and falling with forelimb clonus (generalised motor convulsions)
