Orexin A significantly decreases the histopathological score of EAE mice and CD4+ T cell recruitment in the CNS. On day 21 post-immunization, spinal cord sections from naĆÆve, PBS, and OxA300 IP mice were prepared. a:Spinal cord tissues were stained with hematoxylin/eosin (to distinguish cell infiltration) and luxol fast blue (to detect myelin). b Spinal cord sections were labeled with DAPI and Alexa 488 anti-CD4. All images were taken at Ɨā€‰20 magnification. Two or three representative areas of spinal cord are shown per experimental group. Arrows show inflammatory and demyelinating areas.
