JC124 treatment reduced the number of inflammatory cells. Representative images of OX6+ MHC class II antigen-presenting cells in the injured cortex and the DG. Quantification analysis showed that the number of OX6+ cells was lower in the JC124-treated animals and was significantly reduced in the cortex (p < 0.05). Lower number of OX6+ was also found in the DG with a trend towards significance (p = 0.06). Bar = 300 μm
