Proposed hypothesis for the therapeutic effect of LED on VAs in myocardial I/R. Myocardial I/R might cause a series of changes directly or indirectly: microglia activation in the PVN and increase of LSG neural activity and inflammatory response in the myocardium. LED therapy might inhibit the microglia activation induced by myocardial I/R, thus suppressing the sympathetic activation and inflammatory response. These changes help to protect against VAs.
