Dopamine to HVA utilization index. CNT naive control, SH sham surgery, VG subdiaphragmatic vagotomy, NaCl single intraperitoneal vehicle injection, LPS single intraperitoneal LPS injection. Vagotomy elevate HVA/DA ratio in all examined brain areas, in brainstem, motor cortex, prefrontal medial cortex, amygdala, and hypothalamus. Tendency to neutralized this changes is still observed, especially in amygdala and hypothalamus. Details in text
