PEA reduces β-hexosaminidase and histamine release from SP-stimulated RBL-2H3 cells. a β-hexosaminidase release was measured after stimulation of RBL-2H3 cells with SP (10 μM) in the presence or absence of PEA (0.1, 0.5, 1, and 10 μM) for 15 min at 37 °C in a 5% CO2 atmosphere. Absorbance was measured at 405 nm. Each bar shows the mean ± SEM. ***p < 0.001 compared with Vehicle. °°p < 0.01 and °°°p < 0.001 compared with SP. b Histamine release by ELISA was performed after stimulation of RBL-2H3 cells with SP (10 μM) in the presence or absence of PEA (10 μM), for the indicated time. Absorbance was measured at 450 nm. Each bar shows the mean ± SEM. ***p < 0.001 compared with vehicle. °°°p < 0.001 compared with SP
