Mechanism representation in a microglia. ICH induces JNK/AP-1 activation thus leading to an increase in caspase-1 and producing an inflammatory response. Administration of rDKK3 activates Kremen-1 (phosphorylated) complex with DVL-1, thus reducing JNK/AP-1 signaling and reducing inflammation. Administration of Kremin-1 and DVL-1 siRNA should reduce the effects of DKK3/Kremen-1/DVL-1 thus reducing the beneficial effects of rDKK3 on ICH-induced inflammation
